Our Story
Global Signals started as a personal blog in 2020 when our founder Kai Lindström was frustrated by the lack of honest, practical connectivity information for digital nomads. Most connectivity guides were either written by people who'd never actually worked remotely while traveling, or were thinly disguised affiliate marketing dressed up as advice.
We set out to build the resource we wished had existed when we started our nomad journey: honest, practical, tested information from people who actually live this lifestyle.
Our Approach
Everything we publish is based on real-world testing. When we say a connectivity option works for video calls, it's because we've made video calls on it. When we say a country has coverage gaps, it's because we've experienced those gaps. We don't publish information we haven't verified.
We update our guides regularly as the market changes. The connectivity landscape evolves quickly — new providers enter the market, pricing changes, coverage expands. We aim to keep our information current and accurate.

Global Signals is an independent informational resource and is not affiliated with telecom operators, mobile carriers, government agencies, or official eSIM providers. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. Our guides reflect our independent assessment based on personal testing and community research.
